At 32 Dental, we provide our patients with an effective take-home whitening process. During the first initial appointment, we will create impressions of our patient's upper and lower teeth to get a model of the patient's mouth. With this model, we will then fabricate a custom tray. This tray is used for the sole purpose of holding the teeth whitening solution against the patient's teeth.

At home, the patient will then utilize the whitening trays along with the whitening solution. Patients will complete the whitening system thirty minutes a day by placing the whitening gel into the tray and placing the trays over their teeth. Excess whitening solution should be wiped off from the gum tissues so that irritation does not occur. While some individuals may experience some sensitivity to their teeth during the whitening process, we recommend our patients brush with Sensodyne toothpaste two weeks prior to starting the whitening process and to stop a couple of days before they begin.
