Smile confidently with invisible Invisalign, an alternative to braces for adults in Kennesaw, GA
By Drs. Lan Vo and Sean Breckley
Often, Invisalign is described as invisible dental braces; however, there are many features of this modern way to straighten teeth that go beyond what traditional orthodontic treatments have to offer. These features are particularly appealing to busy parents and professionals. Many patients of 32 Dental have discovered how Invisalign is so much more than invisible braces for adults in Kennesaw GA and the surrounding area.
Shed your self-consciousness We welcome patients whose teeth have either relapsed following earlier braces treatment, or patients who have put off getting the treatment they need to straighten their teeth due to concerns over wearing visible and uncomfortable brackets and wires.
The American Academy of Orthodontists notes that more adults are seeking orthodontic answers to their crooked, crowded teeth than ever before. An updated 2016 AAO study found that more than one of every four orthodontic patients in the U.S. and Canada is aged 18 and older (at 27 percent). They attributed record numbers of adult patients to innovative technologies and techniques, which make the process almost imperceptible. Invisalign is just such an example of discreet, hassle-free, and high-tech innovations to correct many cases of mild to moderate misalignment of the bite and dental arch.
Why adults love Invisalign
True braces are a dental appliance made up of stainless-steel brackets that are fixed to the teeth and wires that are threaded through those brackets. Only your orthodontist can adjust your braces. The braces are tightened to gradually reposition teeth during scheduled office visits. Your orthodontist is also the only one who can remove braces. Adults who had braces as children may recall the pain of cleaning around wires and brackets, and associated discomfort when braces were tightened, which says nothing of the metal mouth appearance that makes so many kids and adults alike dread the experience.
Today’s orthodontic patients have more options than ever before. Invisalign treatment is not braces treatment. Instead, Invisalign uses aligner trays made from a transparent, soft and smooth plastic to gently and incrementally reposition your teeth. These trays slide over your teeth. Patients tell Drs Lan Vo and Sean Breckley how much they appreciate Invisalign for the ability to:
Remove the aligners for easy and effective cleaning and comfortable eating – Take out the trays for meals and brushing and flossing only to ensure your treatment stays on track.
Smile confidently – Since the plastic is transparent, no one can see the aligners in your mouth.
Enjoy convenient treatment – The process is as simple as swapping one tray for the next tray in the series (to correspond with your individualized treatment plan). Trays are worn for around two weeks. Depending on the degree of misalignment and how well you follow your treatment plan, a range of 12 to 48 trays are required to get your desired smile.
You can also straighten on your schedule. You only visit 32 Dental, so Drs Vo and Breckley can evaluate that your treatment is progressing as it should be. With Invisalign, you’re in the driver’s seat! Technology adds to the treatment experience, because sophisticated software is used to create a digital model of your mouth. You can virtually see how your teeth move during every step of treatment, including the beautiful results at the end! Plus, this software is used to fabricate your aligners for a precision, comfortable fit – no wires that poke at the inside of the mouth, or break!
To experience these and other benefits of Invisalign as an alternative to traditional or more modern braces with clear brackets, schedule an appointment with Drs Vo or Breckley. Call32 Dental in Kennesaw GA at (770) 423-1132.

I've been seeing Dr. Breckley and Dr. Vo since they opened this practice, and I'm still a huge fan. I recently had some dental work done with them (like this morning). I've never doubted the doctors' abilities, and this experience was no exception. They are experts and are very good at their craft. I want to also mention the support staff, especially the women on the front desk. They are thorough, helpful, and so very nice. I've never experienced the follow-up and follow through at another practice as I have with them at 32 Dental. I always know what my bill will be. There are never any surprises, and that is so comforting in this day of American healthcare. :) I'll continue to refer my friends to them and patron their practice based on my experiences with them! Thanks!
