Replace a dying tooth with a dental implant in Acworth, GA

A dying tooth is a problem that can happen to anyone. In some cases, it begins with trauma to a tooth or large areas of decay. Patients may try to address the problem with fillings but dentists may notice the tooth is not acting as it should and may be in need of a procedure such as a root canal. Root canal therapy is often done for teeth that are infected. Dying teeth may become weak, brittle, and result in pain, which is often when they are diagnosed. While root canal therapy is a great way to maintain the natural structure of the tooth, it is not always an option depending on the condition of the tooth.

When root canal therapy is unable to help with a dying tooth, patients must then consider the alternative, extracting the tooth and replacing it with a long-term restoration. For many patients, this may be done with a dental implant.

A dental implant is a titanium post that appears as a small screw. The dentist places it in the jawbone. Time is allowed for the process of osseointegration to occur. During this process, the bone fuses to the implant to hold it firmly in place. This is essential for the stability of the implant.

Dental implants are restored over the top with a dental crown. Dental crowns are fabricated from porcelain and made to match the existing teeth in size, shape, and color. This ensures the restoration is completely natural looking. Patients can then eat and speak as they once did even with a lost permanent tooth. Our practice offers same-day replacement with implants as well as temporary restorations.

Drs. Lan Vo and Sean Breckley encourage patients to visit 32 Dental to learn about ways of repairing the smile after tooth loss. Our practice offers dentures, dental bridges, and dental implants for patients who need to restore their smile for beauty and function, and our team can help individuals determine the best solutions for their specific needs and desires. I've been seeing Dr. Breckley and Dr. Vo since they opened this practice, and I'm still a huge fan. I recently had some dental work done with them (like this morning). I've never doubted the doctors' abilities, and this experience was no exception. They are experts and are very good at their craft. I want to also mention the support staff, especially the women on the front desk. They are thorough, helpful, and so very nice. I've never experienced the follow-up and follow through at another practice as I have with them at 32 Dental. I always know what my bill will be. There are never any surprises, and that is so comforting in this day of American healthcare. :) I'll continue to refer my friends to them and patron their practice based on my experiences with them! Thanks!

Wow." I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone who wants both kids and adults to be taken care of at the same location!

32 Dental was quick and kind. The office staff was efficient and the dentist was very thorough. He referred me to a specialist due to the type of root canal needed. He was able to find one available for the same day. I will definitely use them in the future.
