Dental Care / Oral Cancer Screening

Dental care and oral hygiene are important not only for a good-looking, healthy smile but for a healthy, sound body as well. That is why at 32 Dental, we will do everything possible to ensure that our patients enjoy their teeth and their body with proper care of the mouth and beyond.

Every individual will have different dental needs, based on a case-by-case consideration by our dentists. In most instances, there are five common steps that our patients can take in order to maintain a healthy mouth and body:
  • Floss daily and brush your teeth twice per day with an electric toothbrush
  • Visit your dentist at least twice a year for professional teeth cleaning
  • Maintain good health with proper nutrition.
  • Exercise regularly.
  • Avoid chewing and smoking tobacco.
At 32 Dental, we take dental care and check-ups one step further. With each visit when a patient comes in, we will also complete an oral cancer screening. An oral cancer screening involves both a visual exam and saliva sample. In an oral DNA screening, a saliva sample is sent to a diagnostic lab where it is tested for early-stage Human Papilloma Virus and the bacteria that cause periodontal disease. This simple screening aids in the early detection of both oral cancer and periodontal disease, increasing the rate of successful treatment.

At each visit, we will also do oral hygiene instruction and coach our patients on how to maintain their dental health so that we don't have issues of gum disease or decay. We also coach patients on dietary choices, as to food we recommend and food that we do not recommend they eat so that they can maintain a healthy smile for a lifetime.

If you are ready to start taking control of your health, call 32 Dental today in order to schedule your first consultation appointment and exam. Our dentists thrive to help our patients discover a healthy smile and body, and can be the first step to treating yourself--and your smile--to a long and happy life!

Fantastic! I just had visit #2 with 32 Dental, and all I can say is WOW! Friendly and knowledgeable. Previously, I kept a normal dental routine visit but went to these huge chain dentists. Now at 32, they have made my visits very easy and seem committed to the "issues" I want to fix. Cozy, clean, and unlike other places, they operate in the 21st century... What a concept? I have recommended them to multiple people!

I've been seeing Dr. Breckley and Dr. Vo since they opened this practice, and I'm still a huge fan. I recently had some dental work done with them (like this morning). I've never doubted the doctors' abilities, and this experience was no exception. They are experts and are very good at their craft. I want to also mention the support staff, especially the women on the front desk. They are thorough, helpful, and so very nice. I've never experienced the follow-up and follow through at another practice as I have with them at 32 Dental. I always know what my bill will be. There are never any surprises, and that is so comforting in this day of American healthcare. :) I'll continue to refer my friends to them and patron their practice based on my experiences with them! Thanks!

Wow." I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone who wants both kids and adults to be taken care of at the same location!
